As a journalist, it has become necessary to have a presence on social media. Over the last few year, I've worked on my social media skills starting with high school journalism and now for KOMU8 sports. I would consider social media a strong suit of mine, as it's something I use on a daily basis as a journalist and consumer. The ability to be creative is my favorite aspect of social media, and I hope to convey that below.

As a part of our High school football coverage at KOMU we sent reporters to almost very game in our coverage area every Friday. Here a few examples of my tweets from the sports segment we call Friday Night Fever.

When I couldn't call a basketball game I always tried my best to be there live-tweeting updates. For this game, I brought my camera and computer along to cut up highlights and hopefully draw more viewers to a very tight game.
