Jacob Siciliano

Journalism is my passion. It started in high school and has grown into a career. Through journalism, I've been able to meet amazing people, tell impactful stories, and have fun doing the work I love. I currently work for NBC affiliate KOMU8 in Columbia, MO. while studying journalism at the University of Missouri. Through KOMU I have learned real newsroom experience through producing and reporting for a local community. While I love telling individuals' stories, commentating sports is my true love. To me, there is nothing more enjoyable than the rush of being live on air, and guiding and engaging an audience throughout a game. For my high school, I served as our lead play-by-play calling over 50 games across six different sports, despite playing both football and baseball. I currently commentate for Mizzou Club Hockey and student radio station KCOU 88.1 FM.
